Integration and Migration

ITS continues to focus on integrating several applications that utilize the LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) feature and is working to ensure that the LTIs for Moodle remain functional as the LTIs get added to Brightspace for on-campus and online classes.

ITS is working with AU Online to provide access to courses and initiate the import process, enabling AU Online staff to start building new courses in Brightspace. D2L recently announced the release of an updated course migration tool scheduled for late April. This tool has the potential to accelerate the course migration process compared to existing methods. Once it is available, ITS will test the new tool in Brightspace.

Additionally, two student-facing courses were created recently in Brightspace: an AU Embark-related course and a Math assessment course migrated from Moodle.
