ITS has completed the Brightspace implementation, offering ongoing training sessions and resources to support faculty in transitioning to the new learning management system for the upcoming academic year.
ITS has completed D2L's Brightspace implementation services, marking a milestone. As part of the ongoing collaboration with D2L's Creative Services team, ITS recently deployed an updated HTML template using a theme and content aligning with AU's brand guidelines, bringing this phase of the project close to completion.
Additionally, ITS has successfully implemented all initially requested LTI integrations, either migrating them from Moodle or implementing Brightspace equivalents. Course enrollment updates now occur hourly, as they previously did for Moodle, allowing for timely addition and removal of students from courses. In preparation for the upcoming academic year, the course creation process is currently running twice daily until the fall term begins.
The university continues to offer comprehensive training opportunities for Brightspace. A Grades training session conducted by D2L is scheduled for today at 12:00 pm CST, lasting two hours. Two Brightspace "Ask Me Anything" sessions are scheduled for August 22 at 12:05 pm and August 27 at 12:00 pm, providing faculty an open forum for questions with a D2L trainer.

To help faculty with the transition, ITS is hosting two additional on-campus training sessions with the option to join the sessions remotely.
